The 5.3L V8 for the ODB has arrived from Bowautoparts at ebay. A few engines have been purchased through Bowauto over the years with great results and we will continue to do business with him. The Hooker motor mounts have also arrived, ordered from Jegs.
We have the sandblasted parts back from Cobern Machine Shop and Sandblasting in Pensacola, Fl.. A few coats of chassis black await.
With the engine and motor mounts here, it's time to get serious and start this restoration project.
We all love it when new, or better, parts arrive for our project vehicles. Especially when those parts will make it go faster, handle better, grip harder, and stop quicker.
